Have you seen Paolo Miller?

Group show

pianobi is delighted to present a project in collaboration with RUFA (Rome – University of Fine. Arts). On June 19th, opens the exhibition Have you seen Paolo Miller? of the artists Giulia Vitiello, Alexandra Bittarova, Ximena Robles Gárate, Yelyzaveta Tarasenko, Alexandra Shukhobodskaya, Alina Zialionaya, Kira Protsenko, Alvi Östgård, Kateryna Sopelkina, Janneke Leenders, students of the Painting course held by the visual artist Caterina Silva.

The exhibition is accompanied by a critical text written by the Alex Aymerich, Lucy Henderson, Gloria Strauß students of the Art Curating and Management course held by the curator and art critic Fabrizio Pizzuto. After a series of meetings between the students, the teachers and Isabella Vitale, curator and founder of the pianobi contemporary art project, an idea was conceived capable of allowing many different identities to coexist in the same place. Paolo Miller was "created".

Paolo Miller is a fictional artist, 35 years old, of Italian origin whose interactions with various women left behind a trail of works and intertwining narratives. Someone had a romantic relationship with him, another was his roommate or his half-sister, yet another studied art with him or met him in a psychiatric clinic... Each artist encountered Paolo at a different point in his life only to find that he had suddenly vanished.

The collective fiction built around Paolo Miller is a pretext to articulate identities and perspectives in different languages and make them intertwine like a puzzle.
